Urge Congress to Support Security Funding for Jewish and other Faith-Based Nonprofits

In the wake of terrorist attacks on Israel, members of Congress are calling for increased funding to support Jewish and other faith-based nonprofit community institutions, including $500 million for the Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP). 

Past conflicts between Israel and Hamas in the last few years have resulted in a dramatic uptick in antisemitic and anti-Zionist incidents across North America. Jewish communities are thus bracing for potential terror attacks, for anti-Israel activities in high schools and on college campuses, and for anti-Israel policies in corporate boardrooms, state legislatures, and school boards, among other places.  

Congress has an opportunity to provide crucial funding that will increase security and preparedness for Jewish and other communities that face regular threats to their safety by providing additional funding to the Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP).
